The technician of Mazara, Dino Marinocomments on the knockout against Don Carlo Misilmeri:
“In the first half, for better or worse, we approached the match discreetly, playing almost on equal terms. They unlocked it with a dead ball and it all came down to them. I didn’t like the team’s attitude. In the second half we talked, we put in a little more determination and desire and in the first 10-15 minutes we played on par. As soon as we conceded the second goal we were out of the game, there was no story. Credit goes to Misilmeri who played the game. Congratulations to them, we’ll roll up our sleeves.”
“In my opinion, that desire that usually distinguishes us was missing. We were a little too relaxed, but if this is the attitude I see it as tough. If, however, we change our attitude in the two remaining games then it is different. We need to give more, believe in it, matches end in the 95th minute, not when the opponents make it 2-0.”
“I saw many steps backwards, many did not enter the game. If this is the attitude, it’s my fault because I wasn’t able to add that extra salt during the week. There’s no point in winning one game and then losing three.”
