A more than positive weekend for the Riviera Samb Volleywhich celebrates the victory in the first leg of the playoff quarter-finals of the first men’s team and is preparing to conclude the group stage with the first women’s team.

MEN’S C SERIES

Travaglini Volleyball Ascoli 0-3 Farmacia Amadio RSV (21/25, 17/25, 16/25) The playoff phase of Riviera Samb Volley begins with a good away victory in the derby against Ascoli. The rossoblu play well and deserve success, awaiting the return match which will be played on Saturday evening at 9pm at PalaCurzi. THEthe comment by Coach Rocco Netti: “Victory in the derby always takes on a special flavour, even more so if we are talking about the quarter-finals of the playoffs valid for promotion. It is right to applaud the boys for their play, for the attention and determination shown on the pitch which allowed us to maintain control of the match. We had come from a complicated week, in fact, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the technical director of the men’s area Marco Mattioli for having made up for my absence, helping us to prepare for the match as best as possible. The victory allows us to experience the return match with more serenity, because it will be enough to take home two sets to guarantee qualification for the semi-final. But we must not let our guard down: we want to continue winning and give satisfaction to our fans.”

During the week I asked the girls to have fun on the pitch like we had in training: the playoffs are not long away, we deserve our position in the table and our goal was to play with a free mind and enjoy the challenge against the third . At the home of the best team at the moment, we played a beautiful match and for this the girls deserve all the compliments. We know that the stakes are high, but if we continue to have fun like this we will be able to get a lot of satisfaction. Now the match against the league leaders awaits us, now unreachable in the standings: an important match remains to get to the final phase in good shape… and we know that inside or outside matches are completely different from the previous phases.”
