To Afragolain the province of Naples, a child affected by autismwho is undergoing a course of therapy in the rehabilitation center that is dealing with his case, was also present at school.
His name is Andrew: this is the same autistic child who, a few years ago, was excluded from a Christmas play in a private school in the same municipality in the Neapolitan hinterland. The sad story saw the birth of the association immediately afterwards “Andrea’s Battle”which defends the rights of disabled people, the same one the mother turned to following yet another unfair episode involving little Andrea.
“On Wednesdays in second period my son is not at school because he is in the Aias center of Afragola for his therapies and the same thing happens on Friday in the fifth period, but by doing a thorough check on the electronic register, on both days, in the hours in which he was not at school he was present”, claims Andrea’s mother.
“In fact – explains the woman – there were activities that had never been carried out, because she was not at school but at the rehabilitation center for her therapies paid for by the national health service”. After carrying out careful research, the child’s mother adds that “the false activities also appeared every morning at first period, a time when my son was still at home since he always came in at second period”.
