Public assembly for the Cuneo Central Committee – The Guide

On Tuesday 23 April at 8.45pm the Cuneo Centro Neighborhood Committee convenes the citizens of the neighborhood at the Parish Hall of the Sacred Heart (via Carlo Boggio 4) for a public meeting dedicated to the feedback on the five years of work carried out and to the proposal to introduce a mechanism supplementary, to cope with the additional two years of work as decided by the regulation of the Neighborhood and Hamlet Committees approved last July, which intended to unify the renewals of the Committees.
The board was renewed in 2019 following broad citizen participation and saw the involvement of various towns and citizens who contributed to the proposals and the collection of priority reports from the neighborhood. In recent years, the board has collected, processed and submitted to the administration the needs reported by the neighborhood in terms of public greenery, urban safety, ordinary and extraordinary maintenance, abandoned assets, active citizenship, roads, culture and of the use of public space.
The assembly will be an opportunity to review the activities carried out, the successful interventions and those in which citizens indicate the need for a stronger commitment on the part of the administration. 2024 would also have been the year of the renewal of the board, which however is postponed to 2026 to unify the elections of the Committees as decided by the new regulation of the Neighborhood and Hamlet Committees approved by the City Council last July. The public meeting will therefore also serve to take stock of the continuation of the mandate and evaluate the proposal to include in its statute a mechanism for supplementary elections to fill the vacant positions.
Appointment on Tuesday 23 April at 8.45pm in via Carlo Boggio 4.
