ROME (ITALPRESS) – The Ministry of Justice and the Veneto Region, together with the Court of Appeal of Venice and the Attorney General of the Republic at the Court of Appeal of Venice, have today renewed the memorandum of understanding for the temporary assignment of the staff of the Veneto Region and other public bodies in the Veneto territory to the judicial offices of the district of the Court of Appeal of Venice. The agreement, signed on 3 November 2016 and renewed three times until 2 May 2024 for a further period of 24 months, confirms the will of the Ministry of Justice to continue the efficiency program of the judicial offices through the introduction of personnel to fill the age-old problem of the lack of professional figures.

This form of interinstitutional collaboration involves an important training moment and increase in the professional skills of the staff who will be assigned to the judicial offices within a context of rational use of public resources. On the basis of this agreement, the first in Italy between the Ministry and Local Authorities, to fill the staff shortage, Via Arenula drew on the rankings of regional competitions to select administrative assistants available immediately to take up service. In September 2023, the first 58 officials had entered into service. The one with Veneto is a pilot project that the Ministry of Justice has replicated with other Local Authorities with the aim of speeding up the inclusion of workers in the courts, facilitated by the possibility of choosing offices close to one’s residence. -photo Fotogramma Agency- (ITALPRESS). mgg/com 29-Apr-24 20:04 .
