ANCONA The Municipality has dissolved the reservation: the San Ciriaco fair will maintain the traditional route, from sea to sea. The 360 stands will stretch from the Passetto to Corso Garibaldi. The location has also been chosen for the “Giardino in fiore” event which this year will be held in Piazza Pertini from 20 to 21 April, unlike the last edition which was staged along the Corso. «The mayor wanted it to be placed in Piazza Pertini to intensify the events in that part of the city» specifies Giuseppe Semprini, technical and commercial manager of Blu Nautilus, a company that has been organizing the major trade fair events in the city for years.
Street food
Piazza Pertini, as per tradition, will also be included in the geography of the spaces in which the attractions of the May fair will unfold (from 1st to 4th). «The now well-known street food trucks and a stage for the concerts that will begin on the evening of April 30th» announces Semprini. In total there will be 300 food and non-food stands, 20 exclusively dedicated to the direct administration of food and drinks and 40 of artisanal products (non-food). Last year the event reached the peak of 120 thousand attendees. There is now no doubt about the success of the event. The San Ciriaco fair has entered the fold of the city and each edition attracts visitors from all over the province. The only unknown, as always, is the weather.
The floral proposal
While there will be 40 stands in total that will transform Piazza Pertini into an urban garden with decorative flowerbeds and floral furnishings. There will be twenty nursery operators and 20 small artisans and collateral products. Opening hours from 9am to 8pm. Some refreshment points will be added to the sector proposal «for food & beverage with local products» adds Semprini. With spring, therefore, the city events return which serve to revive, in some way, the center, bringing attendance from all over the province. A tradition that is renewed from year to year, with different and in some cases new proposals compared to previous editions.
