At 2.00 pm on Saturday 6 April, on the “Druso” turf, SudTirol and Parma will compete on the thirty-second day of the Serie B tournament. In all likelihood, there will also be Jasmin Kurtic: the former Crociati midfielder, in fact, was rested in the last championship match against Como – perhaps rested after his efforts with his national team – and against the ducal eleven he could return to wearing a starting shirt . The Slovenian arrived in the gialloblù in January 2020 on a loan with obligation to buy from SPAL and, under the orders of coach Roberto D’Aversa, played a good return round which earned him reconfirmation for the following season. However, the 2020/2021 season was to be forgotten for the class of ’89: he is remembered in particular for the tears shed at the end of the match in Cagliari, when relegation to Serie B was already written for Parma. The following year he was transferred to PAOK where he relaunched himself by scoring almost twenty goals and remained there until June 2023 when, once his contract with the ducal club expired, he decided to move to Universitatea Craiova. His adventure in Romania lasted only a few months and last January Kurtic moved to SudTirol.
