Yesterday was a day of strong winds across our region. There was no shortage of damage, particularly in Umbertide where the violent gusts caused consequences to the roof of the health centre. Damage was detected at the top of the right side of the building located in Largo Cimabue. It was also necessary to inspect the city cemetery where damage occurred due to the fall of a tree. Due to the adverse weather conditions, numerous fire brigade interventions were carried out throughout the region. At 9.00 pm there were 73 interventions in the queue, 241 carried out. The collapse of a roof due to the wind was also recorded in Foligno. Furthermore, during the day the firefighters intervened for a fire in a Ponte San Giovanni apartment, where a woman was hospitalized in serious conditions due to inhalation of fumes and a fire in a roof in San Savino, firefighters also involved in the rescue of an LPG tanker went off the road in the Burgiano road in Perugia.
