Livorno, 29 March 2024 – “In a few days the paid parking system will finally be managed by the Municipality through the subsidiary Esteerm. Beyond the undoubted economic benefit of the operation, which will bring an extra 300 thousand Euros into the municipal coffers every year, we believe it is essential that the Municipality regains one hundred percent governance of the public space”.
Thus the Mobility councilor Giovanna Cepparello announces the transfer to Esteem srlu, from 1 April, of the parking management service and that of the Mobility Desk responsible for issuing ZTL and ZSC passes and permits for the disabled will be managed by ESTEEM srlu.
And here, in detail, what changes for citizens.

PUBLIC PAYMENT PARKING SYSTEM

As of 1 April 2024, Esteem srlu will take over from Tirrenica Mobilità Società Cooperativa in the management of the paid parking service.
In the first few days, coinciding with the transition to ESTEEM srlu, some problems with payment via POS may occur due to technical requirements.
With the transition to ESTEEM srlu, a change will be made to the management method of the parking area located in Piazza Unità d’Italia and Via Pietro Tacca.
The area will no longer have barrier access and will have management that is consistent with the rest of the city’s other parking areas. In particular, the barrier placed at the entrance will therefore be removed. Payment will no longer take place at the moment before leaving with the automatic pay station located near the kiosk (which will be disabled), but will take place upon arrival via two recently installed parking meters. Payment can also be made with a smartphone using one of the enabled payment apps (EasyPark, DropTicket, MyCicero, Tap&Park, Telepass).
The presence of a traffic assistant will remain constant at the kiosk for parking control operations in the areas of Piazza Unità d’Italia and Via Pietro Tacca.
The current rates referred to in City Council resolution no. remain unchanged. 269 ​​of 3.6.2020. The hours also remain unchanged.

MOBILITY DESK

As of 1 April 2024, the service relating to the Mobility Desk responsible for issuing ZTL and ZSC passes and permits for disabled people will also be, as mentioned, managed by Esteem srlu.
Consequently, the changes listed below will be made.

Opening time

Opening hours will be changed. The office will be open on Mondays and Fridays from 9.00 to 13.00 and on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 15.30 to 17.30
The help desk remains, for the moment, at the Palazzo Comunale Nuovo in Piazza del Municipio 50, third floor. At a later stage it will move to the premises in via Giovanni Marradi 118, ground floor (notification will be given when the transfer is imminent).

Telephone number

For information, the telephone number 0586-820333 is maintained.

Email address

The [email protected] and [email protected] email accounts will cease. They will be replaced by the [email protected] email address

Appointments

The methods relating to the appointment service will also change. The possibility of making an appointment via WhattsApp will cease. Therefore the number 3426628606 will no longer be active.

Appointments can be booked with the TU PASSI system by connecting to the TuPassi.it website where it will be possible to register by providing email and password.
Alternatively, appointments can be made by telephone by calling the telephone number 0586820333 from Monday to Friday from 9.00 to 13.00 and on Tuesday and Thursday from 15.30 to 17.30.
However, the procedures for the online issuing of ZTL/ZSC authorizations do not change and will remain the same through the Municipality portal (https://permessiztlzsc.comune.livorno.it/)
