Construction work has officially begun 72 new niches prefabricated concrete front burials, which will be located in the cemetery in via Paglia to Catanzaro. The project has a value of approximately 100 thousand euros, according to what was reported by the city councilor Raffaele Serò. The completion of the works is expected by the end of April, the period within which the 72 new niches will be available to accommodate the needs of citizens, says Serò.
“Furthermore, as soon as possible we will begin the construction of further burial niches in the cemeteries of Lido and Santa Maria. These new spaces will be financed through both municipal and regional funds”, informs the councilor. “The Municipal Administration is fully aware of the importance of guaranteeing all citizens a final resting place that respects the dignity and value of human life. These interventions are part of a broader project to improve and enhance burial places, which are fundamental for the memory and respect of our deceased loved ones,” he concludes.
