We receive and publish.

With amazement and bitterness I note that this editorial team has published a letter relating to the inconveniences of users accessing the sampling point located in via Carlo Boggio 14, attributing the responsibility to the ASL CN1.

I hereby request an immediate correction of what was published in the online newspaper entitled “Queues in the cold and barely visible displays: the Cuneo Local Health Authority sampling center in the crosshairs” published on 28/3/2024 by Cuneodice.it (already corrected , ed.), since the sampling point in question does not belong to the ASL CN1 but rather to the ASO Santa Croce e Carle of Cuneo, which occupies the premises of the ASL on the basis of a multi-year lease. The management of activities within the sampling point is therefore the responsibility of another body.

Indeed, I would like to underline that in the past this general management had proposed to the general management of the ASO Santa Croce e Carle to find another more suitable location for the sampling point.

This proposal, which was dictated not only by the need to overcome logistical problems highlighted in the letter from the reader of this newspaper, but also by the need to find more easily accessible spaces for users of the ASL CN1 clinic, who would thus be able to move from the third floor to the ground floor of the building in via Carlo Boggio (thus improving access), was not taken into consideration.

This had to be clarified, in the hope that in the future greater attention will be paid to verifying the facts before proceeding to publish news that does not conform to the reality of the facts themselves.

Dr. Giuseppe Guerra

General director of ASL CN1
