The regional tender dedicated to Lombardy agricultural companies to modernize theirs has been reopened fleet of machines and equipment, in the name of latest generation technologies. As the agriculture councilor illustrates Alessandro Beduschi: “the first part of this initiative concluded at the end of March, registering the participation of over 750 companies with questions aimed at greater productivity, efficiency and environmental sustainability”. the more specific requests concern equipment for animal husbandry with a high level of technology and automation, machines and systems to optimize the use of fertilizers, to reduce the use of pesticides and improve irrigation activities.
Requests from the province of Cremona
The announcement, available until May 31st, is reserved for agro-mechanical companies and micro, small and medium agricultural enterprises and their cooperatives and associations, with registered office in Lombardy. Among the provinces that presented the largest number of applications there is also Cremona. According to the councilor “Lombard companies are responding very well to the challenge of evolve and use advanced technologies for precision agriculture, automation, drones and sensors to optimize resource use, reduce costs and increase crop yields. Furthermore, adopting sustainable agricultural practices can help preserve the environment and ensure food security.”
