Atletico Uri doesn’t throw it in and Tortolano’s goal is enough for Trastevere

Atletico Uri does not concede another victory at home and loses the direct clash with Trastevere which has double the value for the standings because the Romans go from the hoped for -1 by the Giallorossi to their own +7, leaving them out of the sights of the teams who, as Fadda and his teammates want to leave the playout. For Paba’s team there is a lot of regret because what weighs on the balance of the defeat are several wasted scoring opportunities but, above all, an advantage rule not applied to Melis who was launched into the net and stopped to whistle for a foul on Fangwa. And this is how the amaranths of the new Stirpe coach won the second narrow match in a row with Tortolano once again protagonist of the three-point goal after the one at Cassino.

The race. Compared to the victorious match against Latte Dolce, coach Paba cannot use the suspended Esposito and brings Fangwa forward from the 1st minute with three other offensive players such as Piga, Demarcus and Cannas. Two changes in the Amaranths compared to the success against Cassino with the inclusion of Mastropietro in the trio of attacking midfielders together with Crescenzo and Tortolano behind Alonzi, and that of Rosati in defence. The strong wind didn’t help the quality of the game but the Giallorossi’s approach to the match was determined. And the first opportunity belongs to Uri in the 19th minute when Demarcus verticalizes well for Fangwa who is stopped by the desperate exit of Semprini who saves his own goal. Before the half hour Trastevere strikes mercilessly. In the 27th minute, on a long throw from the back, Fusco heads in an involuntary assist to Tortolano who beats Tirelli once he enters the area. The reaction of the Giallorossi was almost immediate and in the 31st minute Fiorelli collected a short clearance from the opposing defense and volleyed it past Semprini. In the 34th minute the Romans asked in vain for a penalty kick due to a touch from Fadda but the referee allowed it to continue. Before the break the Amaranths could double their lead, in the 43rd minute a deflected ball ends up at the feet of Crescenzo who, from a favorable position, sends it high over the crossbar. On the other hand, the episode that sends fans and the Giallorossi bench into a rage because Fangwa is put down by Ferramisco, the ball is collected by Melis leaning towards Semprini but stopped by the referee’s whistle for the free kick in favor of the home team and the yellow card for the visiting defender. General protests and red card for assistant coach Mura.

At the start of the second half Trastevere had the lead at 0-2 in the first ten minutes: in the 6th minute Fadda closed on Mastropietro but the ball ended up with Alonzi who shot powerfully but out of bounds; 4′ pass and Tortolano looks for the long post with a shot to return with the ball just behind the back. In the 12th minute Semprini said no to Cannas’ header from Ravot’s free kick, deflecting the ball into a corner. On the developments of which Fadda does not find the target. In the 17th minute it was the turn of new substitute Baldari to act as a block for Fangwa’s close-range shot. Uri didn’t give up and with Melis and Attili they didn’t pierce the opposing defense, creating another wonderful opportunity in the 32nd minute but Attili turned the ball high into the area by Piga. In the home team’s final forcing there are spaces for the Romans but Tirelli keeps his players in the game with a timely exit to stop Alonzi. Prelude to Giordani’s expulsion for a foul on Demarcus which leaves Trastevere with ten men. With the extra man, Paba’s team makes a last-ditch effort and, in the 45th minute, Fangwa kicks a ball high a few steps away from Semprini, favored by a rebound. It doesn’t end in 1-1 but rather home defeat number ten.
