ALEXANDRIA – After the 80 thousand collected in 2023 again this year the municipal administration of Alexandria presented the rich program of events planned in the coming months, launching in parallel the search for sponsors and private partners in support of these initiatives. “Alessandria has always been very rich in social capital” the mayor remarked Giorgio Abonante – And this participation is demonstrated not only by the success of last year’s call for sponsorships, but also by the widespread participation of many entities, historic or newly born, in the care, revitalization and attractiveness of Alessandria’s streets, areas, neighborhoods and suburbs . In this context, the second edition of the schedule of events for the search for sponsors offers private individuals the opportunity to link their name to a significant piece of the city’s cultural, sporting or recreational history”.
In the program stand out, for example, the weekend that will precede the Tour de Francethe second edition of “San Giorgio Festival” with artists of national fame in an arena of around 3 thousand people in a part of Piazza Garibaldi, the rich summer season in the city center and the first edition of the popular and folk music festival, “Sguardi” with the prize “Betti Zambruno” in the presence of the great singer Tosca and also dedicated to the memory of Roberta Alloisio and Ezio Poli.
In spring, the “St. George Season” will resume the identity of the historic trade and sample fair, now however declined from a cultural point of view with some initiatives, among which the valorisation of the agnolotto, a cornerstone of Alexandrian gastronomy. The schedule of events approved by the council promotes, also in collaboration with ASM Costruire Insieme, five main events and a multitude of collateral events for the year 2024, which can be supported in different ways:
1) main sponsorsupporter of one of the five main events on the schedule for a minimum fee of 40 thousand euros;
2) sponsor of a single event present in the program of the five main events for a minimum fee of 10 thousand euros;
3) sponsor of a single event outside the five main event programme, for a fee of between one thousand and 5 thousand euros;
4) support of a single collateral event with a free disbursement.
