The unbeaten streak of the Legnano Softball girls in A2 extends: victorious in both matches played against Buls Rescaldina in the third weekend of the championship and increasingly firmly at the top of their group standings. The red and whites, fresh from a good trip to Avigliana, hosted a team that had so far collected two successes in as many matches but which was clearly beaten.
The challenge
In race 1 there was great balance until the fifth inning when with the score 1-1 Anita Minari and her teammates scored six points for the final 7-1. In race 2 Legnano immediately took off in the second half with a nice 3-0 and after having collected a point from the guests it doubled its spoils to secure the victory. However, the interruption due to rain did not cost the hosts the success, who ultimately saw the result of 7-2 approved.
Legnano Baseball Under 18
The fourth championship match for NetSystem Legnano-Bulls was played on the Milan pitch. «Good work by our defense who showed they were on the pitch with balance and attention – they explain from the club -. Unfortunately, the excellent work of both pitchers, Paolo Caruso and Andrea Colombo, was not enough to give a positive outcome to the match.
