The operations of the Carabinieri soldiers continue constant and intensified in the Adriatic city to counter illicit activities in the area.

The soldiers of the Carabinieri Company of Montesilvano are carrying out targeted judicial police activities aimed at the prevention and repression of crimes with particular attention to those of a predatory nature, an unfortunate phenomenon which causes particular social alarm.
These services set up in the area allowed the soldiers of the Operational and Radiomobile Unit of the Montesilvano Company to arrest a Class 84 Moroccan individual with a criminal record for the crime of robbery.

In the circumstance, during a specific patrol service, while passing through Via Di Blasio of this Centre, the attention of the military was drawn by a citizen who was about to return home at that moment and indicated a vehicle a little further ahead, reporting that the driver of the same , a few moments earlier, he had been attacked and beaten by a man who then quickly walked away.
The soldiers immediately reached the vehicle in question, a Fiat 600, and at the same time spoke to its owner, who at that moment appeared with a bloody face, in order to collect as many

useful information to clarify what happened. Consequently, thanks to the information collected, the Carabinieri managed to obtain a specific description of the subject who, shortly before their intervention, had violently attacked the man, stealing the cash sum of 40 euros from his wallet.

The immediate searches, carried out continuously in the surrounding areas by the soldiers of the Carabinieri, made it possible to trace the perpetrator of the robbery who in the meantime had hidden in an extremely dark alley near Via Aldo Moro.

He was promptly stopped and subjected to a personal search following which the sum of cash stolen from the victim a few moments earlier was found.
In light of the overwhelming investigative elements acquired and the clear and unambiguous circumstantial framework reconstructed by the Carabinieri, the man was accompanied to the offices of the Montesilvano Company and at the end of the formalities, he was declared under arrest for the crime of robbery.

Subsequently, on the orders of the PM on duty of the Pescara Prosecutor’s Office, he was transferred to the “San Donato” prison to await the validation hearing.
