Salvatore Arresta wins the 7th Satiro Slalom in Mazara del Vallo

The 7th Satiro Automobile Slalom – City of Mazara del Vallo, a car competition that runs along the Provincial Road 50 Salemi-Mazara, took place with great success. Forty drivers competed over a 2.5km stretch, racing through eleven cleverly placed chicanes along the route.

The undisputed winner was Salvatore Arresta, who took the top step of the podium with his Gloria B5 Evo Suzuki. Girolamo Ingardia on Gloria B5 Suzuki demonstrated a remarkable performance, despite finishing in second place. Nicolò Incammisa stood out in third place driving a Radical SR4 Suzuki.

Among the top ten classified, in addition to those already mentioned, there are Gianfranco Catalano on Chevy Sedan, Agostino Bonsignore on A112, Giuseppe Catalano on Chevy Sedan, Filippo Pillotta on Renault 5 GT Turbo, Emanuele Campo on Fiat 126, Fabio Lucchese on Peugeot 205 R and Vincenzo Centonze on Fiat Panda 45.

The event took place on a beautiful day of sunshine and spring temperatures, adding a touch of color to the competition. The slalom was organized by Promoter Kinisia, with the patronage of the Municipality of Mazara del Vallo and in collaboration with Aci Sport – Regional Delegation, which, in addition to being a test of the Sicilian Championship, also inaugurated the season.

Remaining faithful to the passion for motoring, organizer Peppe Licata of Promoter Kinisia said: “We are satisfied with the enthusiasm and talent demonstrated by the participants. The Satiro Slalom continues to be a highlight event in the automotive panorama, and we are already working for the next races.”

The Mayor of Mazara del Vallo Salvatore Quinci commented, stating: “The Satyr Slalom – City of Mazara del Vallo is an important event that enhances the sporting spirit of our community. This event not only promotes motor sport, but also our city, offering a unique opportunity to showcase the beauty and hospitality of Mazara del Vallo.”

The next appointment with the Promoter Kinisia races is on April 14th in Sant’Andrea di Bonagia, in Valderice.
