It was held this morning, in the council chamber, the BIM training course whose start of work has been presented by Mayor Mario Baccini. The course, organized in collaboration with the Order of Engineers of Rome, saw the massive participation of all 5 municipal technical offices.
The President of the Order of Engineers of Rome, Eng. Massimo Cerri, provided the collaboration of its organization to assist the Public Works Area and the technical staff of the Institution in matters of training for BIM. Building Information Modeling represents an epochal revolution from a design point of view which will lead to the digital modeling of all project works above 1 million euros, improving management and maintenance aspects.
The Course is a mandatory requirement provided for by the public contracts code and provides for the training of technical staff of public administrations, starting from 1/1/2025, to be able to examine projects in Bim mode.

At the end of the training course. The Order of Engineers will issue training credits for engineers and training certificates for all other technicians not part of the order.
