«Despite the efforts made by the mayors to find a meeting point between the different needs, – he continues – this choice leaves us stunned, if not downright indignant because it introduces a double track of secularism and respect for rights, providing greater rights for some and minors For others. If on the one hand, in fact, a school in the municipality of Pioltello is closed, on the other, parish priests are prevented from exercising their ministry so as not to offend the sensitivities of those who do not recognize themselves in the values ​​of our Christian-Catholic traditions or to promote a presumed integration between students. Minister Valditara is asked if what happened in the Marche is in line with our constitutional principles, if a correct dialogue between students and religions is promoted by canceling our traditions in favor of others, and if the cancellation of identity symbols and cultures is effective integration between peoples or, instead, promoting ideological and humiliating actions of this type does not mean denying ourselves and our values, canceling them”, concludes Battistoni
