As part of the prevention of pathological gambling, the Pathological Addictions Operational Unit of the ASP of Ragusa, directed by Dr. Giuseppe Mustile, together with Taxi 1729, a scientific communication and training company, is organizing a series of meetings in the province’s schools from 8 to 10 April, with the involvement of 1,500 students and their teachers.

Furthermore, a training event is planned with school and municipal operators, as well as with sports and voluntary associations, at the headquarters of the Chamber of Commerce, in Piazza Libertà.

The initiatives, aimed at the prevention and treatment of pathological gambling addiction, with particular reference to young people (who are among the largest gaming consumers), will be presented on Thursday 4 April, at 4 pm, in the Russo-Armenia Room of the ASP headquarters of Ragusa, in Piazza Igea.

It will also be an opportunity to illustrate the activities of the Pathological Addictions UOC in its areas of competence. The company’s strategic management will also be present at the event.
