Rai 1 broadcast the Euro 2024 match, Spain-Italy, and peaks in ratings. On the other hand, the rest of the television programming has little to say. Nobody dares to challenge the national team and only films were aired on the other channels. Worse than the Sanremo week.
While the whole country focused on the Euro 2024 match, Spain vs Italy, broadcast in prime time on Rai 1, Canale 5 broadcast one of the films that made the history of cinema, Ghoststarring Demi Moore, Patrick Swayze and Whoopi Goldberg.
Italia 1 proposed the comedy, Everyone’s crazy about goldwith Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson, while Rete 4 missed the appointment with Forehand and backhand which returns next Thursday and broadcast the film The Terminal with Tom Hanks.
The other Rai channels also lower the tone: the film was on Rai 2 The vineyard of love and on Rai 3 Rebels.
Prime time, TV ratings on June 20th: the National at 57.9%, Ghost at 7.8% share
On Rai 1 Euro 2024 Spain-Italy won 12,300,000 spectators equal to 57.9% share (first half: 12,420,000 – 57.5%, 12,190,000 – 58.3%; pre and post overall: 7,429,000 – 40.9% ). On Canale5 Ghost: Ghost 1,477,000 viewers liked it with a share of 7.8%. On Rai2 The vineyard of love it is the choice of 737,000 spectators equal to 3.5%. On Italia1 Everyone’s crazy about gold it gathers 556,000 spectators with a share of 3%.
On Rai3 Rebels marks 465,000 spectators equal to 2.2%. On Rete4 Terminal it totals an am of 384,000 spectators (2.3%). On La7 The Nuremberg Trials interests 354,000 spectators and 2.4%. On TV8 The memory of the heart gets 210,000 spectators with 1.1%. Valentina Persia’s theater show on the Nine What are you laughing at? gathers 462,000 spectators with 2.3%.

On Canale5 Paperissima Sprint entertains 1,459,000 spectators equal to 7.5%. On Rai2 TG2 Post scores 362,000 viewers with 1.7%. On Italia1 NCIS – Crime Unit gathers 909,000 spectators with 4.6%. On Rai3 A Place in the Sun fascinates 1,390,000 spectators (6.5%). On Rete4 Bitter Earth gets 605,000 spectators with 3.1%. On La7 Half past eight followed by 1,178,000 spectators (5.9%). On TV8 Three of a Kind to Win in replay it gathers 198,000 spectators with 1%. On the Nine Cash or Trash – Who Offers More it attracted 328,000 spectators (1.6%).

On Rai1 Chain Reaction – The Winning Agreement obtained an average audience of 2,162,000 spectators equal to 20.6% while Chain reaction it involved 2,967,000 spectators equal to 22.6%. On Canale5 the replay of Free Fall – The Challenge Begins entertains 1,116,000 spectators (11.4%) while Free fall gathers 1,741,000 spectators (13.9%).
On Rai2 the Euro 2024 Denmark-England match was followed by 1,569,000 spectators with 14.6% (first half: 1,287,000 – 14.5%, second half: 1,840,000 – 14.7%). On Italia1 Studio Aperto Mag scores 317,000 spectators with 2.8% e CSI – Crime Scene gathers 510,000 spectators with 3.4%. On Rai3, TGR news keeps 1,660,000 viewers informed (11.9%). Following Blobs marks 797,000 spectators equal to 4.9% e I travel to italy 1,133,000 viewers like it, equal to 6.3%. On Rete4 Bitter Earth fascinates 573,000 spectators (3.7%).
