Ignazio Boschetto is a member of “The flight“, the singing group made up of three tenors, which in recent years has been writing a beautiful page in the history of Italian opera.
It’s been since the days of “I leave you a song” who perform together. Since then they have become inseparable, as well as beloved. Three voices united in a single group, capable of make your skin crawl and give anyone who listens intense emotions.
There are many successful songs that they have written over the years and which have made them much loved by the public. First of all is “Great Love“, the ballad that allowed him to win the 2015 Sanremo Festivalto represent Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest and thus build a successful career, which has led them to be known throughout the world.
If it weren’t for what happened a few years ago, the lives of the three and especially of Ignazio Boschetto could be said to be perfect. Unfortunately, however, this is not the case. One day a terrible phone call marked the young singer’s life forever.
Despite the phone call, he performed anyway
As reported by “Solo Spettacolo” just a few days after that horrible phone call, Ignazio Boschetto was supposed to attend the Sanremo Festival together with the other two members of “Il Volo”. Both he and Piero Barone and Gianluca Ginoble had been invited to the festival as guests and should have been pay homage to the master Ennio Morricone with their performance.
Nobody expected that Ignazio Boschetto would take part in the performance after what had happened to him. With everyone was astonishedhe too was instead with the three, despite having had a few days earlier lost a very important person in his life, his father.
The terrible call that turned his life upside down
Three days before Ignazio Boschetto performed at the Sanremo Festival together with the other two members of “Il Volo”, it was suddenly his father, Vittorio, passed away. As “Solo Spettacolo” reports, probably due to an illness.
Despite this, Ignazio Boschetto he did not give up his commitment in Sanremo and performed on stage for him too. “There wasn’t a single moment when I thought about not doing it, because our parents gave us everything. After the sacrifices he and my mother made to get me to where I am today, he would never allow me to be absent. I did it for him too.” Ignazio Boschetto told “Verissimo”, remembering his father and moving everyone.
