Rainn Wilson, best known for having participated in the famous American TV series, on Monday The Office, he published on his Instagram profile a photo of a joke that was played on him by the staff of a hotel in Florence, Tuscany, and which recalls one of the most famous gags of the series, namely the one in which Dwight Schrute’s stapler (the character played by Wilson) is stuck in jelly as a prank on him. The one who pranked him in the series was his colleague Jim Halpert (played by John Krasinski).

Wilson was staying at the Plaza Hotel Lucchesi: when the waiters brought his dinner to his room, he noticed that the cutlery was immersed in gelatin, explicitly recalling the scene of the Stapler in Jello, as it is called in English. Among the comments in response to the post there was also that of the girlfriend of the chef who had organized the prank for Wilson. “I forced him to watch The Office when we started dating, because it’s my favorite series. I’m happy that she made you laugh and that you are enjoying Florence,” she wrote.
