Just over a month after the surgery she underwent to remove a tumorous mass in her pancreas, the actress wanted to attend the wedding of her firstborn, appearing happy and radiant.

The happy event took place yesterday, Thursday 2 May. Andrea Rizzolison of Eleonora Giorgi and Angelo Rizzoli, married Serena Meriggioli, many years after the divorce with his now ex-wife Alice Bellagamba. The marriage it took place in the presence of close friends and relatives. Paolo Ciavarro (Giorgi’s son with Massimo Ciavarro) and his partner Clizia Incorvaia could not be missing, as they will get married in the summer, on 12 July. “My Andrea got married“, was the comment of her brother Paolo, who showed some images of the ceremony on social media. Among these, the most touching was certainly that of Eleonora Giorgi who accompanies her son Andrea to the altar, visibly moved.
With a splendid dress with white designs on a blue background, and a pair of ankle boots on her feet, the actress appeared next to her firstborn. Clutching him in her arm, she took the steps towardsaltar together with him, unable to hold back his smile. Her mother’s love therefore gave her the strength necessary to make this effort just over a month after a major surgery. There was great emotion from Giorgi’s fans, who commented affectionately on her images. “Eleonora, you are divine and shining“said one of his followers.
Recovery after illness
Eleonora Giorgi’s battle continues, even if in this difficult period she has always been able to rely on the love and support of her family. Despite her problems, the actress has always shown herself positive.
The diagnosis of pancreatic cancer it arrived last December. Since then Giorgi has had to undergo care and treatments, showing great strength and tenacity. The delicate operation to remove the tumor mass took place in March, after five cycles of chemotherapy, at the Salvator Mundi clinic in Rome.
