The phase is that of the preliminary study, useful to first understand the location, sizing and costs.

But one aspect is clear: we need more spaces for physical activity available to Parma’s high schools, particularly in the Via Toscana campus.

For this reason, the Province has entrusted an engineering firm from Parma with the task of drafting the technical-economic feasibility project for the construction of a new gym in via Lazio.

The analysis will help to understand how to proceed but there is already an overall economic framework of expenditure of 3.5 million euros (amount of work based on the starting bid of 2.5 million).

This would be a system to be built from scratch in order to make up for the lack of space available to students in the area.

Based on the technical-economic feasibility project – drawn up by the engineering company and approved by the body – the provincial administration is now carrying forward the in-depth phase.

In particular, the School Building service will continue with the subsequent planning phase if even partial financial coverage of the loan is available.

In via Toscana the Province has already contracted the construction works new Itis headquarters which will be ready in September 2025

On the subject of school buildings, the Municipality of Parma announces the conclusion of the redevelopment works of the Agazzi nursery school in Baganzola, in Strada del Molino 1, in Baganzola. The building has been completely renovated and has been made safe from a seismic and infrastructural point of view with various energy efficiency interventions which have improved its performance and environmental comfort.
