Load. The family doctors of Carcare, Millesimo and Cengio (who also serve in Calizzano, Bardineto, Osiglia, Murialdo, Altare, Cosseria, Roccavignale, Mallare, Plodio, Bormida and Pallare), network to best guarantee the health of their patients in every moment of the day.
This is a project activated in collaboration with the ASL 2, with the socio-health director Monica Cirone and the director of the Bormida District Luca Corti, which involves one of the two functional territorial aggregations of the Bormida Valley, namely the Carcarese one (in the other , from Cairo, group medicine is carried out, ed.).
As the ATF representative, Dr. Marco Mannari, explains, “from now on all my patients and those of nine other professionals will be able to use the service, which makes up for the hours or days of absence of their doctors. A way to ensure that, in case of need or emergency, each of us can fill prescriptions, visit or dispense treatments and medicines in the presence of a computer network that offers us all the information of anyone (as long as they are a local patient) present in our studies”.
A convenience for citizens, who are sometimes unable to go to their doctor for reasons of incompatible schedules or other problems, but also to limit travel of several kilometres. In fact, to date the maximum threshold of users assigned to professionals has risen, and doctors from Val Bormio number up to 1900, often residing in countries distant from each other. This is also a problem for home visits, for which transfers take up time and resources.
“With the new system, active since April 1st, we will be more widespread and it will be easier for everyone to have a doctor available at any time,” concludes Mannari.
The following doctors will be in the network with Mannari: Erika Fossarello, Daniela Privitera, Rocco Robertino Pittari, Alberto Rebella, Pietro Scarrone, Sandra Mazza, Barbara Bossolasco, Sabrina Briozzo and Sara Levratto. Doctor Matteo Vallauri remains out because he is almost at retirement age, and because he is ten, the maximum number of doctors allowed for medicine in the network of each ATF. Each doctor will maintain his own office hours, to consult those of others it is possible to connect to the ASL 2 website, although each professional will soon disseminate the necessary information among his patients.
