The name Lokomotiv recalls the locomotive as a driving force for the younger generation and is also a tribute to first cycling team in the history of Kyrgyzstan. This will guarantee us to participate in the biggest races on the international UCI calendar.”

Lasenko specified that the Kyrgyz National Cycling Federation was founded two years ago. Currently, some cyclists and technicians come from neighboring countries, as the level of local cycling is still developing.
