It wasn’t just the weekend of Diletta Leotta. Another face of Italian TV also said ‘yes’ yesterday, 22 June, with an equally intense ceremony but less ‘trumpeted’ from a media point of view than that of the DAZN presenter. It’s about Daniela Ferolla, hostess of Uno Mattina, the Rai 1 morning show, and for years at the helm of Linea Verde. The 40-year-old from Vallo della Lucania got married to her partner Vincenzo Novari, crowning a love that has lasted for twenty years.

The ceremony was held yesterday afternoon in Rome in the spectacular Tor Crescenza Castle, the medieval manor that in 2005 hosted the dream wedding of Ilary Blasi and Francesco Totti (who also celebrated his 40th birthday there). Many VIP guests attended the event, including several protagonists of the Italian small screen. There was Mara Venier with his daughter Elisabetta Francini, the Rai manager Angelo Mellone, the showgirl Angela Melillo, the presenter Monica Setta and also Simona Ventura with her partner Giovanni Terzi.
Unlike Diletta Leotta, who got married on the same day, Daniela Ferolla chose to celebrate her wedding with a more ‘discreet’ event, avoiding media overexposure and ultra-luxury excesses which characterized the colleague’s wedding. It is also a question of personal choices and character: if on the one hand Diletta loves being in the spotlight, Daniele on the other hand has a more reserved character which has always accompanied her in her personal and professional choices.
Who is Vincenzo Novari, husband of Daniela Ferolla
The love story between Daniela Merolla and Vincenzo Novari it started twenty years ago, in 2004. When they met, she was a very young 20-year-old model (in 2001 she had won the Miss Italia competition) while he was already an established 44-year-old manager. Initially the big age difference it caused discussion and attracted some criticism to the couple, but time has shown that the one between Daniela and Vincenzo is a true and solid love.
