Bad adventure for Ermal Meta and his partner Chiara Sturdà, two days after the birth of their first daughter Fortuna Marie. In a moment that should have been dedicated exclusively to joy and the little one who had just arrived, the couple found themselves having to deal with the intrusion of thieves into their home. Through a story on Instagram, the well-known singer-songwriter shared what happened with his followers, showing the French window of his house destroyed by criminals. Meta recounted what happened with bitterness but also with a touch of irony: “They broke my door, in the end, just to steal a necklace.”

In his story on Instagram, the singer-songwriter also wanted to send a message to the thieves: «If you’re looking for gold and cash, don’t go to the house of songwriters! We are not rich! We don’t sell cherries!”. All of this, with the background of “In questo mondo di ladri”, a famous song by his friend and colleague Antonello Venditti (to whom Ermal dedicated a song some time ago).

«My hand has never been bigger, and neither has my heart. 19.06.2024» wrote the composer in the caption of the Instagram post. The 43-year-old singer-songwriter announced in April that he was expecting his first daughter, with his partner Chiara Sturdà, to whom he dedicated the album Buona Fortuna.
