In addition to appearing as protagonists, Matt Damon and Ben Affleck will also be involved in the project as producers through the production company Artists Equity. Filming on RIP should start next autumn, but to date details regarding the plot are well protected.

It is unclear at this point where and how the film will hit the screen. For Matt Damon and Ben Affleck it is a new experience side by side, fresh from the success of Air – The story of the big leap. Their artist collaboration, however, dates back decades. They worked together on the set of Will Hunting – Rebel genius, a 1997 film which they took care of down to the smallest detail, also taking care of the screenplay. Over the years, the two actors have worked on several projects together including Dogma And The Last Duel.
According to reports from ColliderBen Affleck has recently been busy producing The Accountant 2 and, precisely because of his commitment, he had to postpone the production of Animals, a new crime thriller that he would also make with Matt Damon. Due to scheduling conflicts, Animals has been postponed. RIP, on the other hand, seems to be getting ever closer to the production phase, with filming scheduled for next autumn. To date, no release window has been announced and, even for the plot, we will have to wait.
