“Does this seem normal to you?” Cruciani destroys father Salis’ complaints

In the last episode of Mosquito, Joseph Cruciani thus commented on the case of Chef Rubio and the assignment of house arrest to Ilaria Salis.

“So guys – the host began – there is a very pro-Palestinian, very anti-Israeli former chef, Mr. Chef Rubio, who was beaten up outside his house by some unknown people. After being beaten, he attacked the so-called Zioniststhat it is not clear who they are, and also the Jewish terrorists and then he says other things against Israel, against the Jewish community”.

Cruciani then expressed his solidarity with Chef Rubio and asked him to present the evidence that supports his accusations. “Although I think in a completely different way from that of Chef Rubio, I say: no one touches Rubio, no one must hurt a hair of Chef Rubio, whoever he was, and I don’t say this by chance; whoever it was, must be identified and thrown into prison if the laws provide for it.”

The Radio24 host then commented on the assignment of house arrest to Ilaria Salis, criticizing the woman’s father’s accusations against the Italian government. “I am very happy: Salis is not guilty, she has not yet been convicted and for these crimes she should be placed under house arrest,” said the host, who then explained what makes him “slightly pissed off”: “Now I simply say this, it seems normal to you that the father is angry with a government that perhaps I don’t know if it did something before or after, but it is certainly negotiating.” And again: “Why continually go on the attack? What proof do you have that the government did nothing?”.

Finally, Cruciani commented on a judge’s decision not to proceed with a defamation charge against Donatella Di Cesare who had defined Minister Lobrigida as “neo-Hitlerian”. For the host, this is the most classic example of a system that creates children and stepchildren: “With some they are inflexible and with others they are not.” “Now you get up in the morning and say ‘ah that’s an asshole’ you get put on trial. If you tell someone ‘he’s a faggot’, you get prosecuted,” but Lollobrigida “he was caught as a neo-Hitler” and “they didn’t put his accuser on trial”. And to think that the director of Libero who titled “Boiling Potato” was massacred. “And they also say that there is no freedom of expression…”, concluded Cruciani.
