In view of the 2024-2025 season of the Serie A Elite Men, Colorno lays an important foundation for the team to come, that relating to the choice of the coach who will lead the team for the top Italian Championship.

This is Gonzalo Garcia, former Italrugby attacking midfielder (44 caps), who later became a coach with various types of experience in his career, including head coach and assistant, between Lyons Piacenza, Accademia Fir with the Zebre, Italy Under 18 and Italy Emerging.
“I become part of a beautiful reality – said Garcia, in the words reported by the Gazzetta di Parma – where I immediately perceived a lot of possibility of doing well. I’m getting to know a well-organized structure that also does an excellent job with the youth teams. The first team group is well mixed, I see many technically interesting players on whom we can make a good development project. We want to continue to compete at the highest level possible.”
Gonzalo Garcia will be the head coach of a staff that will also include Edward Thrower and Oliviero Fabiani, with the latter taking care in particular of the scrum and touchline.
Technical director Stefano Romagnoli hoped that Garcia would be able to restore serenity and new stimuli to the environment.
