Mourning at home Federica Pellegrini. The cat Neve with whom the champion and the rest of her family shared the last 17 years of their lives has passed away and Federica wanted to remember him with a post on Instagram.

“17 years is a long time… they tell the story of a life together. We will miss you little Neve… you just had time to get to know each other. Say hello to us Mafalda”, this is how the new mother Pellegrini said goodbye to Snowready to reunite with Mafaldathe kitten to whom the “Divina” family had to say goodbye in 2015 after 15 years together. That “you just had time to meet”, however, refers to Matildathe firstborn of Federica and Matteo Giunta, born on January 3rd.

Neve was Federica’s parents’ cat, Cinzia and Roberto. In remembering him, the swimming champion shared a series of shots of some moments of life with the cat and the rest of the family: Neve and Mafalda while they sleep with Cinzia, a selfie in the mirror with Alessandro Pellegrini and one with Mr. Roberto, but also a shot with Neve intent on having breakfast together with Cinzia and the first and tender meeting between the cat and little Matilde shortly after his birth.
The cat Neve has always remained in Cinzia and Roberto’s house, while Federica and her husband Matteo have built their canine family made up of four french bulldogs Vanessa, Rocky, Cesare and Bianca, recently defined by “Divina” as little Matilde’s “high level bodyguards” in a tender shot that had attracted a lot of likes and comments on Instagram.
