Even for the 2023 tax return, as in previous years, in first place there are not those who take care of people, but those whose main task is to care for and find a new home for abandoned dogs and cats in the Legnano area: this is what the data relating to the city ranking of the entities to which taxpayers have chosen to allocate the 5 thousand share of Irpef on the occasion of the 2023 tax return say. Even without indicating anything, the 5 per thousand is donated generically and then distributed by the State. As regards 2023 – the Revenue Agency published the data of the preferences expressed by taxpayers a couple of days ago – on a national basis the 5 thousand had as “recipients” a total of 80,838 entities, divided by category: at the top of the list are the Third Sector Entities and Onlus (58,870), followed by amateur sports associations (13,306), the entities involved in scientific research (446), those operating in the health sector (106), the cultural and landscape heritage entities (177) and the management bodies of protected areas (24).
The list also includes 7,909 Municipalities. Based on the choices expressed by citizens, the 5 per thousand 2023 will distribute over 520 million euros. As anticipated, the Protezione Animali Di Legnano Odv leads the ranking for the Legnano Entities and the Legnano volunteer organization will be distributed a total of over 72 thousand euros; in second place in this special ranking we find the Parish of Santa Teresa del Bambin Gesù, with a share that slightly exceeds 24 thousand 500 euros.
On the podium, then, also the Municipality of Legnano, which collects just over 24 thousand euros. Four other entities exceed the 20 thousand euro mark with the 5 per thousand: these are the Carovana Società Cooperativa Sociale (23,928 euros), Santi Domenico E Magno (23,623 euros), Santi Martiri Società Cooperativa Sociale (22,851 euros) and Avis comunale di Legnano (21,930 euros). Above 10 thousand euros, finally, the Fondazione Degli Ospedali Di Abbiategrasso, Cuggiono, Legnano, Magenta Onlus, which collects 13,794 euros.
