INPS announcement, new functionality for the taxpayer’s social security drawer

The taxpayers’ social security drawer expands its functionality. The INPS announcement with a recent communication.

New functionality added to the INPS social security drawer (CodiciAteco.it)

The pension drawer is a service made available by the Italian Social Security Institute and which allows you to control your own contributory situationallowing the verification of the main characteristics and information by accessing a single channel.

INPS is taking steps to expand the services offered and linked to the social security drawer; the latest one concerns a new service added to the section GDP Services and dedicated to public employees. From the communication it is clear that the new functionality is named View 770/Circ.38 which allows you to consult the reports sent from 1996 to 2004.

What is it for and how does the new pension drawer option work

The new function of the social security drawer (CodiciAteco.it)

There are two data search methods, one which allows you to extract the data relating to individual years and the other which, instead, allows you to view all the years for which there is data from the reports sent.

For each complaint the following are indicated:

  • the number of employees declared;
  • the legal and economic data displayed for each employee;
  • any errors that could have limited or blocked the flow of information to the databases fed by the complaints.

The search can also be carried out using the tax code of each member. This method allows access to legal and economic data, as well as other detailed information such as, for example, the member’s retirement or the possible transmission of substitute reports.

If, for the years in question, the amounts need to be adjusted, as they are shown in lire without the elimination of the three final zeros, or for problems relating to the lire/euro conversion, the Administration/Body may request the relevant territorial office the generalized arrangement of the data received by the Institute for the year concerned. The request can be forwarded through the “Bidirectional Communication” function present in the Social Security Drawer or via certified email.

After evaluating the request, the territorial office involves the central management and the IT office to start updating and correcting the data.

Following the publication of the communication announcing it, the service is already available and can be consulted by accessing the personal area of ​​the INSP website.
