INPS has announced the publication of a video guide dedicated to those waiting for recognition of civil disability or deafness.

A video/audio guide for recipients of medical reports of disability, deafness or blindness is the news communicated by INPS. This is an experimental proactive digital communication service aimed at adult users who have applied for recognition of the health assessment of the requirements for civil disability and deafness. The service was already active in the Regions and Provinces where the verification of health requirements was the responsibility of the ASL.
From March 2024, the INPS assessment has been extended to applicants in the Regions and Provinces in agreement with the social security body. We are talking about Pordenone in Friuli Venezia Giulia, San Donà di Piave, Verona and Venice in Veneto, Lazio, Avellino, Benevento, Salerno and Caserta in Campania, Basilicata and Calabria, Trapani and Messina in Sicily. What is the INPS video guide for disabled civilians for?
The objective of the video guide is to explain the content of the civil disability or deafness report, underlining the key elements useful to the user. The salient data are the percentage of recognized civil disability or deafness, the economic benefits due, the benefits and obligations provided by the Law depending on the type of medical-legal judgment present in the report.
The video guide is customized based on the minutes and the judgment of the Commission. The avatar addresses the recipient directly to report the outcome of the health assessment and the possibility of download the letter with the report attached via online mailbox. The letter will also be delivered via registered mail with return receipt. Additionally the avatar will report back
- the economic benefits due based on the percentage of disability indicated by the Commission and other age and income requirements,
- the benefits recognized by law on the basis of the medical-legal judgment present in the report,
- the obligation to review reported in the medical-legal judgment complete with instructions and direct access to the service to attach health documents,
- the methods for reporting hospitalizations lasting more than 29 days and the methods for sending the income declaration with direct access to the simplified RED service,
- the methods of direct access to INPS online services.
The audio guide service will be provided automatically in the MyINPS Area after the report has been issued once the health assessment has been completed. Recipients will receive an email or text message with an invitation to access the reserved area.
