Even if Ferrari’s world championship has so far been below expectations and Max Verstappen’s Red Bull is dominating as predicted, tens of thousands of spectators will still witness the F1 Monza GP 2024, scheduled for September 1st. After all, the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Monza is a rite in which one participates ‘regardless’ from cheering for the ‘red’ from Maranello, which in any case will not be missing this year either, hoping for a sporting miracle from Leclerc and Sainz. GP MONZA F1 2024: DAYS AND TIMES
The events of GP Monza F1 2024 they will begin vFriday 30 August with free practice taking place from 1.30pm to 2.30pm and from 5pm to 6pm. Saturday 31stinstead, there will be free practice from 12.30pm to 1.30pm and qualifying from 4pm to 5pm. Finally Sunday 1 September 2024 the Grand Prix at 3pm with 53 laps to go.
On the same days, in addition to Formula 1, Monza will host the last round of the Formula 3 championship, the fourth to last of the Formula 2 championship and the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup.
GP MONZA F1 2024: TICKETS
THE tickets for the Monza GP 2024 they are on sale on the websites monzanet.it and ticketone.it. Tickets are available for single days or season tickets for the entire weekend from 30 August to 1 September. MONZA GRAND PRIX 2024: ENTRY
Also confirmed this year are the five pedestrian entrances (Vedano, Lesmo, Mirabello, Costa Alta and Costa Bassa) and the two new catwalks (Mirabello/Variante Ascari; Variante Ascari/entrance Santa Maria alle Selve) built last year to facilitate and speed up public access.
Opening of the gates:
- Friday 30 August at 7.30am;
- Saturday 31 August and Sunday 1 September at 7:00.
Closing: at 8pm for all three days.
Inside the facility can be introduced umbrellas without metal tips, non-wooden chairs and stools, plastic bottles and water bottles not exceeding half a liter in capacity.
It will not be allowedhowever, entry to bicycles, electric and non-electric scooters, drones, weapons and knives, glass artefacts, tents, flag poles if not made of plastic and flexible, spray cans, pyrotechnic material, work tools.
FORMULA1 MONZA 2024: SPECIAL TRAINS AND DISCOUNTS
In the days of the 2024 Monza GP, starting from Thursday 29 Augustthe Eurocity trains from Milan Centrale, Bologna Centrale, Genoa Porta Principe and Venezia Santa Lucia with destination Zurich or Basel and the Eurocity trains departing from the two Swiss cities towards the capitals mentioned above they will stop, extraordinarily, in Monza. By purchasing a Frecciarossa, Intercity or Eurocity ticket to Milan, or a Eurocity ticket to Monza, on the Trenitalia website, you will be able to purchase coupons for the Formula 1 Grand Prix with the 5% discount.
GP MONZA F1 2024: REFRESHMENT POINTS
I am 24 refreshment points where it will be possible to purchase food and drinks, 10 water points (free) managed by BrianzAcque. From this edition it will also be possible to introduce into the system half liter water bottles. The toilets have also been increased: almost a thousand units (966) distributed over the entire area of the plant.
ITALIAN GRAND PRIX 2024: FAN ZONE
There Fan Zone of the GP Monza F1 2024located between the opposite straight and that of the high-speed ring, will allow you to try the experience of changing tires, try your hand at driving simulation, learn about the careers of the 20 protagonists of the World Championship, experience the emotion of the podium and take a leap into the Formula 1 of the future.
It will also be possible to admire some Italian Formula 1 cars from the past and the cars with which the drivers will carry out the parade on Sunday morning. Special presence, particularly appreciated by fans and enthusiasts, that of Ferrari. Equally exciting will be the performances of DJs and bands that will mark the days in this area.
The Fan Zone will open to the public Thursday 29 August at 2pm, free of charge (access exclusively from viale Mirabello). In the other daysaccess will be permitted only to GP ticket holders from 9am to 7pm.
To ensure you don’t miss even a moment of the Grand Prix, the Autodromo Nazionale Monza has also increased the number of giant screens to 31.
