The change in the consumer price index was calculated by Istat, which took the current year with the previous year as a reference.

Changes from July

Established in March 2022, the Single and Universal Allowance for Dependent Children led to the repeal of the Family Allowance (Anf) and the Family Allowance (Af), referring to families with children and orphans. Both fall under the protection ofSingle check. It follows that the new levels that we will see from 1 July will only refer to those families made up of spouses, siblings and grandchildren.

As regards the variations, the percentage variation calculated by Istat, and identified between the years 2022 and 2023, is around + 5.4%. Thanks to this data, the National Institute of Statistics was able to develop reference tables with the various monthly amounts depending on the family unit. The changes will remain in force from1 July 2024 until 30 June 2025.
