The FIAT Panda has been ousted from the throne: it is not the cheapest. The surprise in the ranking of the least expensive petrol models.
The FIAT Panda has been the best-selling model in our country for some time now. Much of the success of the historic vehicle from the Turin company is certainly to be found in the low price it has had since its debut in the 1980s. Saving money is a priority, which is why many have preferred the economic essentiality of the Panda to super expensive cars, which in a short time has become synonymous with accessible cars.
Yet, there is a pattern ready to oust the beloved FIAT model from the throne of the cheapest car on the market. The well-known portal Everyeye has drawn up a list of the least expensive petrol cars available among the price lists of various companies.
Among these there is obviously also the Panda hybrid, which can be purchased for just 12,966.87 thanks to the new incentives. The loan allows you not to pay any advance, and includes the payment of 35 installments of 134 euros and a final maxi installment of 8,268 euros in the event of redemption of the vehicle. However, she is not the queen of savings.
The FIAT Panda defeated: the Korean model is the cheapest
Among the most successful models is the Lancia Ypsilon, which in the Start&Stop Hybrid ORO version can be purchased with a promotion that involves the payment of 35 installments of 79 euros per month. The advance is 1,228 euros, while the final maxi installment is 9,031.75 euros.
Among the most convenient models there is certainly the Dacia Sandero, spearhead of the Romanian company’s price list and another bestseller in the sales charts. The Streetway Essential can be purchased for less than 15 thousand euros. An advance payment of 1,310 euros is required, while the payment of 36 monthly installments of 78.73 euros is required.
A little more expensive, but The Citroen C3 is very competitive in the segment, Stellantis’ response to the arrival of oriental low-cost models. In case of scrapping with incentives the price can drop to less than 12,850 euros.
However, ousting the FIAT Panda from the throne is the Kia Picanto. The South Korean model has also achieved some success in our latitudes, precisely because it is incredibly economical, the most convenient on the market. The 35 installments provided for by the loan are just 59 euros per month. The down payment is also minimal, with only 2,560 euros required. Adding the possible final maxi instalment, worth 8,910 euros, the total of 11,143.37 euros is reached. Less than the FIAT Panda, which therefore has to be “satisfied” with its placing.
