The Fiat Grande Panda was surprisingly presented yesterday, the long-awaited new version of the beloved city car, also equipped with electric engines for the first time. Stellantis released the photos with a somewhat sparse press release, then awaiting the big presentation scheduled for next July 11th.
The question arises spontaneously, how much will the new Fiat Grande Panda cost? We can try to make some hypotheses while waiting for more certain news, and taking into account the prices of the new Citroen e-C3 presented last October, as well as those of the Pandina which will soon become available for order.
Let’s start by saying that the current Panda in the updated version, if the rumors are confirmed, will cost 15,900 euros in the basic version. The new Citroen C3, however, costs 14,990 euros with a 100 horsepower 12. turbo petrol engine. So how much will the new Fiat Grande Panda cost? Being the twin of the Citroen C3 it cannot cost more than the same, therefore assuming 15,000 eurosbut at the same time, if it were to have the same price list, it could literally knock out the Frenchwomanbeing the Grande Panda undoubtedly more beautiful, and having the advantage of being a car that has always been loved by the Italian people.
In doing so, however, it risks being even less expensive than Pandina, consequently it will not be easy to find the right starting price: one of the two “competitors” (if not both) risks being penalised.
Model electric, instead, it should include two cuts in autonomy of 200 and 320km. At the moment the 320 km e-C3 is on the market which costs 23,900 euros on the list price, and even in this case it is probable that the price of the Fiat Grande Panda will not differ much from that figure, perhaps 22/23 thousand euros, with the version with 200 km autonomy which could drop below 20 thousand euros in order to compete with the Dacia Spring which costs 17,900 euros. We await more certain news in this sense which should in any case arrive in the next few weeks.
