There are 100,000 electric cars that are stuck in a parking lot and cannot be unlocked. Few people know the reason.
Electric cars are an international business. The development of the electric car market has faced many difficulties. First of all, the distrust of motorists who have been used to combustion engine cars powered by petrol and diesel for a lifetime.
But at the same time they also had to deal with a series of problems with national regulations. In fact, each nation requires car manufacturers to follow specific rules. THE canons imposed should serve to ensure motorists greater safety on the road when they purchase a new car.
Unfortunately, however, new regulations also mean new expenses for companies, who often find themselves in clear difficulty in sustaining higher costs. In recent months, unfortunately, there have been quite a few cars blocked in the very countries where they were supposed to arrive to be sold.
Now news of this kind comes to us from Germany. There would be tens and tens of thousands of cars that arrived in this country, but were then stopped in parking lots, without being able to place them on the market.
The blockade in Northern Europe
The Financial Times has denounced a situation that turns out to be quite “embarrassing” for the global automotive market. In defiance of the economic crisis that has hit this sector within the main car parks ports of Northern Europe there would be Chinese electric cars. As we know well, the latter are trying to invade the market in every way, offering cars which, however, too often, do not pass standard checks.
But regardless of this issue, it seems that the cars have remained in place parking lots due to a high percentage of cars that remained unsold last year and the year before.
A solution must be found
Among the brands that crowd i port car parks and not only that, there would be the BYV, but it seems that just recently a storage of Tesla. Car manufacturers had really invested a lot in electric cars and if the most famous brands struggled to find a place due to their high cost, it is mistrust that makes the sale of Chinese cars difficult.
A situation to which a solution must be found to avoid huge economic damage which would block the market permanently.
