As many of you will already know, starting from 1 July 2024 there will be increases on Telepass subscriptions for existing customers: the Basic plan goes to 3.90 euros per month, the Plus at 4.90 euros per month, except – obviously – for any promotions. From 1 July the Pay Per Use “pay per use” service will also change.
From 4 June 2024 Telepass has renewed its Zero Fee offers, which however concern normal subscription services. How does it work for those who want a “pay as you go” plan, to be paid only when the device is used? After comparing the various Pay Per Uses of Telepass, UnipolMove and MooneyGo, let’s see how the Telepass service will change from next July 1st.
At the moment, until June 30th, the service costs 2.50 euros in the calendar month, a figure that starts when you pay even just a single toll on the motorway, a discounted car park or one of the various included services. From 1 July 2024, however, everything changes: the cost goes to 1 euro per day when using the Telepass device for electronic tolls on the motorway.
The official website also shows 1 euro per day even when using the services included in the package. Since Telepass itself uses the wording “€1 per day for electronic toll and €1 per day for the services included in the offer”we must imagine that by using – for example – electronic tolls and affiliated car parks on the same day, the Basic service charged is 2 euros until 11.59pm on the day in questionso be careful because Pay Per Use could become less convenient.
What does not change is the cost of activating the service, equal to 10 euros both in June and from July 1st onwards. If the formula might be right for you, take a look at the competitor’s offers, which start from 0.50 euros per day.
