the engine that changes everything, thermal, clean, revolutionary,

The new engine finally arrives, it can change everything: sustainable and revolutionary. Now the electric car really risks something.

We often talk about the electric transition, especially given that from 2035 the European Union seems intent on stopping the production of diesel and petrol cars and focusing even more on this technology. Pay attention, however, to the variables of the case. Demand is struggling to take off, and many companies are already investing in alternative paths.

As we are about to see, in fact, it seems that someone has also thought of a different solution. Something that, to be honest, could actually drastically change the future of four wheels and the choices of consumers, but also of companies that could decide to focus on this great innovation.

Electric car, attention: here is the new alternative engine

Toyota has come up with a water-cooled hydrogen engine. It is a truly unique solution, which combines elements of traditional combustion engines with an absolutely innovative technology and injection system. But what changes between this engine and a ‘simple’ hydrogen-powered one? The engine designed by Toyota uses water to extract excess heat from the combustion chambers. This allows the water engine to operate at temperatures of 2500 °C, and also allows the use of lighter materials than normal steel, such as aluminium, for its construction.

The result is easy to say: one lighter and more efficient structure, capable of performing better and guaranteeing higher performance. The system involves a double injection of hydrogen, both direct into the cylinder and into the intake manifold. In this way it will be possible not only to have complete combustion of the hydrogen, but also to have a great yield with every type of mixture, thus allowing excellent performance in every situation. This engine has all it takes to stand as one new revolutionary alternative to electric and hydrogen.

However, there are still problems to be resolved before it can truly spread. First of all, it is necessary to be able to produce hydrogen on a large scale in a sustainable way, given that today a large amount of energy is required to do so. The costs and the enormous expenditure of resources necessary for the operation of this system still make it a very difficult and impractical alternative. However, important steps have been taken, what is certain is that we continue to work to ensure that electric is no longer the only alternative.
