The latter are constantly increasing, a fact that certainly does us no credit. In Italy there is a very high percentage of thefts for cars, but the increase also applies to motorbikes and scooters. In particular, as regards cars, it seems that the criminals have targeted one model in particular.

Taking inspiration from yet another case of theft involving it, we can state without a shadow of a doubt that the Fiat Panda continues to be the most stolen car in absolute terms with thefts reaching truly impressive levels. After all, we are talking about the best-selling car on our market, the queen of sales for 12 years now, with 102 thousand registrations in 2023 alone.
Yet another theft of a Panda occurred in Sicily, near Agrigento. The victim is an employee who lives in Villaggio Mose who had parked his car in front of a shop only to realize that she had vanished into thin air. Immediately after realizing the theft, he decided to call the policeand now we are waiting for the images from the surveillance cameras, in the hope that they can provide useful elements to understand what happened.
The theft of the FIAT Panda, therefore, is not a new phenomenon, since this has been repeating itself with a certain cyclical nature for several months now. The city car most loved by Italians is also the favorite of thieves. The real reasons for these thefts need to be understood, considering that the car in question has no valuable components inside. We’ll see if the trend continues in the coming months when the new electric model should also be seen on the streets.
