Omnia Technologiesa platform specializing in automation and bottling technologies for the spirits, wine, non-alcoholic beverages, dairy and pharmaceutical sectors, launches a new division dedicated to high-speed beverages – focused on blow molding technologies, bottling, labeling and packaging – through the acquisitions of ACMI, SACMI Beverage And SACMI Labelling.

THE ADVISORS

Intesa Sanpaolo (IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division) as Sole Financial Advisor of Omnia Technologies for the acquisition of the Beverage and Labeling divisions of SACMI, through the Corporate Finance structure of the IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division led by Andrea Falchetti and which he sees referring to Andrea Ballestri the origination and execution desks dedicated to the Italian mid market. ACMI, based in Fornovo di Taro (Parma), is a world-leading company in the design and production of complete packaging and bottling lines, primarily for the food and beverage industry, where it often acts as main contractor and integrator line. Founded in 1984 by the Magri family, ACMI has a turnover of approximately 100 million euros and a workforce of 420 employees, distributed across five production plants in Northern Italy and four commercial branches in Mexico, Poland, the United Kingdom and the United States. ACMI’s product portfolio includes palletizers and depalletizers, cartoonists, wrappers, manipulators, multifunctional robots and transport systems.
SACMI Beverage and SACMI Labeling are today among the most recognized players on the market, thanks to the important strategic investments undertaken and the know-how developed in recent decades by SACMI in the bottling and labeling sectors for the High-Speed ​​beverage sector .

Based in Parma, SACMI Beverage supplies stand-alone machines and complete high-speed blow molding and bottling lines for PET/rPET (virgin/recycled PET plastic), cans and glass bottles, as well as offering solutions for the dairy sector – with form-fill-seal technology – and for the wine sector, with bag-in-box solutions. SACMI Beverage can count on a turnover of around 110 million euros, a workforce of around 160 employees and an installed fleet of over 600 machines.

Based in Verona and Nanhai (China), SACMI Labeling provides automatic labeling solutions, suitable for glass, plastic and metal containers for the high-speed beverage, beer, food, wine and detergent sectors. SACMI Labeling has a turnover of around 70 million euros, employs 300 people and has an installed base of over 1,700 machines.

SACMI Beverage and SACMI Labeling share a global network of branches in France, Spain, Morocco, Nigeria, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, Brazil, Mexico and the United States.
