NoiPA, arrears confirmed, 1250 euros arriving on the second payslip for May 2024

A second NoiPA payslip with the arrears with the amount of 1250 euros is arriving and will settle the arrears sums expected from working mothers in the public sector, including teachers and ATA, who benefit from the mothers bonus of 260 euros per month.

There are just a few days left until the extraordinary issue of NoiPA with which the arrears relating to the mother bonus, the 100% tax exemption provided for working mothers in the public sector, will finally be settled. Let’s see how the payment will be structured and what figures teachers and ATA staff can expect.

The second payslip dedicated to arrears will exceptionally be issued on May 14th, as indicated by the NoiPA calendar. This is a special issue aimed at paying off the balances accrued in the previous months as a result of the 100% decontribution, introduced by the 2023 budget law but applied only partially while awaiting operational instructions.

Bonuses for mothers and arrears, here are some examples of the amounts

Analyzing some concrete examples, for a nursery school teacher the arrears will be paid in a simple and clear payslip, showing only the taxable amount, the IRPEF deducted and the net amount. As regards ATA staff, taking the case of a school assistant, the amount of arrears will be only 25 euros less than that of the teacher.

The arrears to be paid in May 2024 concern the months from January to May and were calculated by partially deducting the withholdings already paid, pending new instructions.

The 2024 mother bonus provides for the reimbursement of pension contributions of up to 250 euros per month for permanent workers with minor children. Women with temporary employment relationships or with a single child over 10 years old are excluded.
