Tuesday 30 April was a negative day on the Italian stock market which underwent a sharp correction, fueled by the weakness of the industrial sector.
The Ftse Mib future (expires June 2024) in fact collided with 34,120 points and fell with a certain determination to 33,500. The short-term technical structure therefore remains conflicted: before being able to attempt a new extension, a re-accumulation phase will therefore be necessary. On the upside, in fact, only the breakout of 34,450 could provide a new signal of strength.
However, a drop below 33,500 points is dangerous although, from a graphic point of view, only the breaking of the support located in the 32,700-32,650 point area could cause a bearish trend reversal.
Intraday operational strategy for Thursday 2 May (future June 2024). Short on rebound towards 33,900 with targets at 33,800 first, then at 33,720 and in the 33,630-33,610 area at a later time. Stop at 34,000. (All rights reserved)
