2024 opened with many promises that have not yet become reality: the car Ecobonus is coming with some constraints. The transition to zero-emission vehicles is fundamental, and the State is expressing its help with targeted incentives.

In fact, the State has envisaged a series of measures to facilitate the transition to increasingly green mobility, based on electric or hybrid vehicles. Let’s see what they are and how to take advantage of them. First of all, you need to know that the government has allocated funds to help families change their car.
This is a fund intended for those who have a ISEE income less than 30 thousand euros and what they mean scrap a Euro 0 vehicle, Euro 1 or Euro 2. These car categories are indeed the most polluting and those most subject to traffic restrictions in limited traffic zones or metropolitan areas.
Incentives for purchasing
If you meet the requirements just described and want to purchase an electric caryou can benefit from the Ecobonus 2024. This is a discount of 13,500 euros on the list price of the vehiclewhich is paid directly by the dealer at the time of purchase.
If you prefer instead a plug-in hybrid cari.e. which can be recharged at the electrical outlet, you can benefit from a discount of 10 thousand euros, always with the same scrapping and ISEE requirements. Regarding the incentives provided for purchasing a car with combustion engine and emissions between 61 and 135 g/kmInstead, the funds have run outand no further financing is envisaged.
The new constraint
However, there is a constraint to take into consideration: to obtain the 2024 Ecobonus, the list price of the car you intend to purchase must not exceed 42,700 euros, VAT included. This limit was introduced to prevent incentives from ending up favoring the purchase of luxury or large-engined carswhich are not in line with environmental sustainability objectives.
The 2024 Ecobonus should be available starting from May 2024but it is a good idea to inquire at dealers or on the ministry website to find out the details and access methods.
