Let’s start by talking about thermal version of the Omeda 5, inside which there is a 1.6 turbo petrol engine capable of delivering up to 185 HP. It is combined with a dual-clutch automatic transmission with seven gears and front-wheel drive.
In the second quarter of 2024, it will be joined by the fully electric version, on which there is a seat 204 HP engine with an approved autonomy of up to 430 kilometres.
Where the new Chinese SUV Omoda 5 will be produced
Recently, the Chinese brand announced the start of collaboration with Ebro-Ev Motores, to produce electric vehicles within the Zona Franca of Barcelona. In these factories, initially only the assembly of the cars will be carried out, followed by the total production of the vehicle.
But how much does the Omoda 5 cost? The price for the thermal version it stands at 27,900 euros, but thanks to the incentives made available by the Spanish government it can be lowered to 22,900 euros.
