Tesla has announced the launch of a new pricing structure for its Supercharger network in Italy. The new tariffs are already in force and introduce a membership model for all customers of the Supercharger network.
No changes for those who already drive a Tesla, who will continue to benefit from the rates already in force and will automatically become a member. However, the monthly membership fee for Superchargers at a reduced price for drivers of electric vehicles of other brands is decreasing.
The monthly fee in fact decreases from the previous 12.99 euros per month to the current 9.99 euros per month. We remind you that subscribing allows you to recharge your non-Tesla electric vehicle at an advantageous price compared to pay-per-use.
A new annual subscription option also debuts. The cost of the annual subscription is 100 euros, with a monthly discount of 16% compared to twelve monthly renewals. Annual membership gives Supercharger users access to member-only rates.
The possibility of charging without a subscription remains intact for all drivers of electric vehicles. As has happened so far, the prices of this type of charging vary depending on the stations and times.
The launch of the new pricing structure also coincides with the opening of other Superchargers to non-Tesla electric cars. We are talking about the stations of Aosta, Cuneo, Varazze and Occhiobello. Tesla recalls that more than 70% of its huge European network of 14,000 Superchargers in over 1,100 locations is open to non-Tesla vehicles.
